TOPSHOP

now that i'm done with Mango...
let's carry on with Topshop.

I was shopping with Mummy on Saturday as mentioned in my previous post.
Went trying all kinds of dresses.
I want to get a pretty pretty dress for my birthday party.

The first piece i tried was at a shop in Heerens.
It sticks to my body so nicely and accentuates all the right curves.
But yet does not show the panty line and my tummy.
Perfect fit.
I love the retro design in bright colours.
But because it's all wavy lines... after awhile of looking at it...
it makes my head go dizzy.

Then I went to Island shop at CK Tang to try this 'Greek Goddess' dress...
and ...

oops... sorry i got carried away.
Back to Topshop.

I went to Topshop to check out the dresses there...
There is this blue prints one that i've seen a few times before but it never really got my attention until i saw a lady wearing it.
Hmmz... it looks quite nice and the design at the back is quite unique.
The cut infront is pretty low though...
and she wore a tube beneath the dress... eww... i'm not going to do that.
I thought my new bikini will look good with it so why not give it a try.
and they still have my bikini at Topshop so i tried them both together.

Ahh... Great! I love it!
Finally found a dress that can qualify and make it to my birthday party.

But the price is erm... well... it is a little pricey.

My mummy asked the sales guy if they had a discount for that dress.
But unfortunately no... unless you're a Topshop member then you get the benefits.
*pout*
Then he excused himself and said that he'll go check.
But you know how Topshop works right... if there's no discount there's no discount.
It's not a street shop in Bangkok or Bugis village... you can't bargain.
Doesn't mummy know that..?
but well... there is that other possibility.
me to mummy: " maybe he's going to get his own membership card and give us the 10% discount."
or so i wish...

The guy came back and confirmed if I really wanted the dress.
He then said that he'll lend us his card....
Ha... as I expected... or wished.
Yay! So i got the 10% discount for my dress and mummy used her Isetan credit card to get another 5% off. so WEE!!!
And I got my dress! =)

Ah... what Excellent service... very excellent service.
All because i've got a 10% off the dress when i shouldn't have.

Then i went to another Topshop to get the dress changed to a smaller sized one.
And the poor cashier had the flu.
Cashier: "ah... hold on ar... ah... choo!"
haha... reminds me of myself.
I say that to my applicants all the time.

So since the other Topshop staff was so nice to me I decided to repay this kindness to this other Topshop staff.
Slipped my hand into my bag and took out the thing that's always in reach.
Panadol for flu.
Handed it to him and he said something about stomach... empty stomach? weak stomach?
huh? what? i didn't catch it.
But he took it after i assure him that it wouldn't cause gastric.
tried and proven.

Then he said that he can't give me a discount for the item.
it's okay... i've already got the discount. haha...
So next time if i've got to get anything from Topshop,
i'll just have to go look for him to get the staff discount. =)
Ray... i'll remember that.

Great shopping experience at Topshop... will be back.
Maybe now i can consider getting those shoes. hmmz...
