AH-TA's party!

Sharita's birthday party was so grand and happening. it seemed like a wedding.

it's the first time i saw like 3-4 generations of people on the same dance floor in real life.
little toddlers to old aunties and uncles.
it was amazing!
i had Sharita's mother's eldest brother's wife pull me to the dance floor and danced bhangra with me. (i hope i got the relation right.)
and she was even more havoc than me.
then again i'm not really the havoc kind anyway.
it's only my second time dancing (minus salsa). first being prom.
i'm just horrible at it. you'll never catch me in clubs.

the food was good.
been some time since i had such yummy indian cuisine.
tried some new dishes and enjoyed every bit of it.

and she had a few cute guys at her party too.
nicely defined eyes with long eyelashes, sharp nose with a high bridge, fair indians who look a bit mixed.
the can-qualify-to-be-bollywood-actor kind.
and the way he played that drum thing was simply charming.
if only... they were born a decade earlier. Damn!

then there was the mary-kate and ashley look-a-like... just the indian version.
adorable little twins.

i just had to sit and watch and yet be able to enjoy myself.
