EMPTINESS

Emptiness refers to all mind and matter being empty
of any inherent unchanging characteristics;
it does not imply the non-existence of everything.

Emptiness affirms the existence of existence;
Emptiness negates the existence of self-nature.
Emptiness encompasses these two Truths.
The Middle Path is in the center.


[i feel an emptiness because of the existence and non-existence of a friend so dear. i miss just being able to pick up the phone at the very thought of him. i want the days of when we would call each other just to disturb and irritate each other and laugh it all off.

i miss our friendship more than i miss the times when we were together. i miss you.]
