the pint test

i just can't live without my desserts.
the sweets in my life.

Ben & Jerry's

they let you choose up to 2 flavours and hand-pack them for you.
neatly divided halves side-by-side.
almost equal amounts of each flavour.
The Ice-cream is Yummylicious!
The flavours are very rich and the taste lingers for awhile.
It makes you feel like having another pint.
For the weight-conscious, they have the non-fat flavours...
so you can enjoy your pint[s] without having to worry about ballooning.
The ice-cream does not melt fast so you'll have lots of time to indulge and enjoy your entire pint of ice-cream till the pit.

Haagen-Dazs

They will hand-pack up to 2 of your chosen flavours too.
If you prefer, they'll pack them side-by-side but not before they ask if they can pack the flavours one below the other. Laziness.
And as you can see from the picture above, the flavours aren't equally divided and not as nicely packed as the Ben & Jerry's one.
On top of it, the ice-cream melts faster and the 2 flavours kinda get mixed.
And if you're planning to eat by the pint, do not choose Belgian Choc unless you want to get a sore-throat. The Brandied Cherry is a wise choice.
But it's all yummy nonetheless.

Andersen's

It's all pre-packed.
Which means only one single flavour in the pint and you can only choose flavours that are available in the pint.
It kinda gets jelak(however you spell that word) after awhile.
The ice-cream is very creamy but plain.
The flavours aren't strong enough which makes it less satisfying.
We couldn't down the entire pint at one shot and had to take-away.
OUT!

And So....

the Winner of the pint test goes to...

Ben & Jerry's!!!

hooray!

anybody wanna join me for a pint of Ben & Jerry's?
