it says it all

for some time now, i have been loving Plain White T's "Hey There Delilah". just today, my friend sent me this other song also by Plain White T and i've started loving it too.

Hey There Delilah...

"Hey There Delilah" is the sweetest.
if there's a guy who'll write me songs like that, i'll be glad he's away. =p
i had my days.
juggling love and distance.
my best friend told me it's when she has seen me the happiest.
my reply: it has to be considering he isn't even around long enough to piss me off.

having that distance can be a real good thing sometimes.
a little bit of separation makes the closeness more worthy.
space means growth and growth is good.
the key is to grow at the same pace in the same direction.

not many can handle it and many don't even want to be anywhere near it.
but i love it. yes i'll have to say i did and i'll probably do.

Plain White T's-A ...

"A Lonely September" is well... why September?!
but i love the guitar!
if only i can play the guitar like that or at least even play the guitar.
this is one for the yearning and the hoping.
"emo and depressing" as my friend (who sent me this song) described it.
perhaps.

but i like that it isn't a one-way thing.
it's an expression of love of one and the denial of the other.
or it could also be a hopeful in denial.
depending on how you see it.
but i choose to see it that both are in love
and maybe just another chance is needed to make things right.

it is Not about not having gotten over it
but it's about it having already become a part of you.

listen to it... it says it all.
