string on my finger

we all learn something new everyday.

today i learnt that film has got expiry date!
it says "develop before 2008/12/01".

uh-oh.
is that 12th January or 1st December?
why can't they put the day, month and year in the proper order?!

i can't believe that throughout my so many months in Tassie, i've only used one and a half roll of film. only 22 shots taken (if i erm put it correctly)! with the holga at least. bah... that's no good. but there really isn't much to capture here in Hobart except for the morning and evening sky over Derwent River. the one which i see every single day and the one that looks more beautiful each day. my... i think i'm in love.

i still don't know how i forgot to bring my holga to Lake St Clair but i didn't make the same mistake twice. i brought it to Bruny although i don't think i took very many pictures there.

now... i have to drill into my head that i need to bring my holga to Wineglass Bay.
which is well... the whole point of this entry really.
theory is... if i blog it, i'll probably remember it.
that and also the fact that i learnt something new.

i think the film has been in the camera for erm... a ver very long time. i hope it's still fine. in fact, it's been in there for so long that i can't even remember if it's a roll of coloured or black-n-white film. oh no.

and yes i am in the midst of my exams.
last paper's on the 8th and i'm flying home on the 9th.
Wineglass Bay? on the 6th... =p
i'm taking a roadtrip just 2 days before my paper.

i fail as a mugger.
