wit? dim.

we watched a video at lecture yesterday about sex, genetics and evolution titled "Why Sex?".
it has a lot of interesting facts but i shall not bore you guys with the science and i shall refrain from discussing the juicy details here just in case my baby brother drops by.

anyway...
there is this one thing that really got my attention and kept me laughing the whole of yesterday.

there was a short scene from "Roxanne" in the video.
the male lead has bulbous nose and he is in love with this very pretty female lead, Roxanne.
it was supposed to show that Roxanne did not judge him based on looks and fell in love with him because of his wit.

in that scene, Roxanne was standing at her balcony and the male lead was on a tree outside the balcony, saying something along the lines of...

"my heart is like a big golden bell. when i see you, i tremble and my bell sways from side to side....."

i didn't catch the last part of it because i was laughing so hard by the time he was done with the first sentence. i tried looking for the script but i can't find it so if anyone has any idea where i can get it please please please let me know. i need the laugh.

it's a play that was made into a movie in 1958. There was a remake of the movie and the male lead was played by Steve Martin.
